Hi all, hope you are keeping cool in the midst of this summer’s heat wave…we are doing well here, life is very good & busy, went to the best party ever for my sisters 40th, she is so cute, does not look a day over 29…we saw the movie Horrible Bosses…it was funny, perhaps even more so for us since hubby & I have both worked for such people in the past & you probably have too, life is full of difficult people…

Scrumptious fish bead! I really like the rock background for this particular bead as it gives it depth and a great way to guess the width of the bead. Fishee-beadness looks like it's swimming around on the bottom of a clear-water, shallow pond. 🙂

I agree that the fish looks like it's swimming around – very nice effect. Thanks for the tip on the tool – I also like the tool you have in your shop. For whatever reason I never thought about making glass beads on skeleton keys! As soon as hubby improved my ventilation I will have to come pick up one of those tools!

Hi sweet Jelveh, Love this little girl, she would make a good mate for my boy fish that I got months ago. Oh would Gus love for Gaga to have a fishie necklace. He is totally infatuated with my pieces. I haven't received the past 2 newsletters, haven't a clue why. There is a set in your shop I would love for you to hold for me. Jelveh, I love this fish. We just put a pond on our property and bought some koi to stock it with. This fish would be great to add to the collection even if he isn't real. Hope all is well.
Sue, You will love your Koi pond! We put one in years ago and there's nothing like sitting out there in the middle of nature with a book or a bead board or just a pile of beads on a blanket with a sketchboard. I might warn you about any water features such as a spitting frog or constant running water sound. I end up going in and out of the house quite a bit! I hope you enjoy your's as much as we do our's.

I`ve been looking at your designs for quite some time and I hope I´ll finally make my way to the Glass Furnace. I`ve made just one glass bead in my life but after that I knew I just have to learn it! And I like the photos of beads on white background more because the stones take too many attention away from the beads. Your beads are really beautiful and outstanding! Thank you for interesting blog and wonderful pics!
